In collaboration with the estate of Lee Krasner, Ulla Johnson’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection features three paintings by the late abstract artist: Comet, Portrait in Green, and Palingenesis. In order to usher in this new era for the brand, we utilized the prints by scaling them dramatically, creating a set where the models float amongst the artwork. I worked as the set designer to create plans, models, mock ups, and collaborated with a large print house to produce 167 separate fabric panels. The panels waved with the wind and the movement of the models, echoing the fluidity of the painted abstraction.
